Shaving Gel

Ordinary shaving lather leaves the skin in dry and, for the most part, oil-depleted state. Any nicks or cuts exposed to the air cause a stinging sensation. Oxidation is what causes the stinging; when sealed from oxygen, the stinging sensation is no longer present.

Emu Oil has bacteria static properties and is oil. Any nicks or scratches caused in the shaving process are treated, not only aseptically but most importantly lubricated giving the skin suppleness, and relieving the stinging sensation.

The skin pores are the breathing apparatus of the skin. On a daily basis the skin is assaulted. We are all exposed to the elements and they cause damage. The natural body function is the pore breathes for the skin; the skin exudes oil to keep the skin soft and pliable. When the pore becomes clogged with oil and no longer functions, it triggers a reaction. The skin around the clogged pore either becomes inflamed and swells or hardens, leaving a dark oil deposit lodged in the pore opening. Either symptom is not pleasant. The skin, the body’s largest organ, is a wonder in itself. Without the skin, we would die. Preventive maintenance of the skin is essential to good health and appearance. Emu Oil, when topically applied, will soften the hardened oil trapped in the pore, allowing the skin’s normal function. Emu Oil’s noncomedogenic (non-clogging to the pores) property is a very effective enhancement for the shaving gel (note the accumulation that appears on your razor when you rinse).

PROPER USE OF THE SHAVING GEL: Since there is no soap ingredient in our shaving gel, you will not see a lather. Wash the area thoroughly [don’t dry face]and apply a small amount of the shaving gel; there will be a slight whitening appearance as you rub the gel on. Allow one or two minutes after application and start shaving the area first applied. You will experience a smooth shave, no skin tugging or discomfort. No more shave bumps or stinging sensation; your skin will be soft and supple, and most important, treated and protected from the everyday assault we all experience.
